Seth

We went to another baseball game with some friends the other night. Brent walked with Seth who wanted to get their mascot to sign his baseball. Seth looked at it as he started to walk away and said, "Hey! He did it wrong! That's not how you spell my name!" Apparently he didn't want "Manny's" name on his baseball.

I Can't Hear You!

Last night some family came over to go swimming in our community pool and then we walked over to play at the park. It was a lot of fun to get together. Seth always loves getting together with his cousins.
After we were at the park for awhile he noticed one of his friends from next door heading to the pool so he decided he wanted to go back over to swim. I told him we weren't going to swim anymore tonight and that we were going to go home after the park. Well, we are having issues in the listening department and he started walking over to the pool. I shouted for him to come back when he was halfway between the park and the pool. He stood there for a little while looking right at me trying to figure out what he wanted to do. He then yelled back, "I can't hear you!" Amy said I should yell, "Yes you can!" So I did. He replied, "No I can't!" Then he ran to the pool. We were laughing so hard!
One of his older cousins went and convinced him to come back.

Not the Best Mommy

I don't know what came over me the other day. I told Seth that we weren't going to watch any tv or get on the computer for the day. They have both been on too much lately, especially since Seth has caught the Webkinz fever. Earlier I had also said we weren't going to have any sugar for the day. I know, I know. What was I thinking? Way too many lofty goals for a four year old!

As we were eating lunch, I said, "I am just the luckiest mommy in the whole world because I have the best two boys in the world." To which Seth replied, "Well, you're not the best mommy." I tried to hide my smile since I knew where this was going and said, "You don't think I'm the best mommy?" He said, "Well you are, but you're not because you said we couldn't watch tv or get on the computer or...and that's it." He was hoping that I had forgotten the no sugar idea and didn't want to remind me. Funny, smart boy

2 Boys

There are a few pictures that we have tried to get of both the boys at the same age. Ian is a little bit older than Seth in these. Seth is about 6 or 7 months and Ian is about 8 months. Ian is much bigger than Seth was anyway!

Seth's room is a cowboy room because of this picture. He's ready to move on to a different theme, but I'm not. It took a long time to make that teepee! (I couldn't get the scanner to work so they look kind of funny)

Brothers

I love to watch Seth and Ian together. Seth is the best big brother. He never has anything negative to say about Ian. He's gotten frustrated with him a few times when Ian runs over his toes with the walker, but he quickly changes back to being sweet with him. I love this picture.

Squeaky Clean

I have so many pictures of them in the tub at different stages. That's when it's easy to catch them sitting still!
