We continued celebrating mom's birthday on Mother's Day with everybody. The kids sang a song and some performed talents.
Mom has always loved music, dancing, etc...She always made music a part of our lives and had it in our home. She would lead choirs at church, as well as other musicals. She put together a dance festival and many other cultural events. She used to sing on the radio with her sisters when she was younger and they always sing at our family reunions.
She got her love for music from my grandmother who could really jam on the piano. She used to play the piano for silent movies by watching the screen and playing a song that would go with whatever was going on in the movie. They are two great women that I have been blessed to have in my life.
Amy also made a video of a bunch of pictures taken throughout mom's life and with each grandkid. It was so good and she did a great job!
